June 24 (Doc) Palin, 71 years old, former postmaster of Wingate and a cousin of
Sep Palin, noted horseman died yesterday at his farm home northwest of here. A
native of Fountain County, Mr. Palin had been Wingate postmaster 8 years. He also trained race horses and for a number
of years made regular appearances at Indiana county fairs. Surviving are the
widow, a son, two brothers and a sister. - kbz
